Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports
The Karachi Port handled 82,869 tonnes of cargo including 49,761 tonnes import and 33,108 tonnes export cargo including 4,087 empty and loaded containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 78,069 tonnes dry cargo including 53,821 tonnes containerised and general cargo; 4,690 tonnes DAP; 3,665 tonnes sunflower seeds; 10,000 tonnes coal; 5,893 tonnes cement and 4,800 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
