Prime Minister’’s proposal to ratify ECC decisions blocked by Cabinet
The Federal Cabinet is said to have blocked Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani's proposal to ratify Economic Co-ordination Committee's (ECC) decisions. The ECC is now being headed by Prime Minister's Advisor on Finance Shaukat Tarin after the Prime Minister decided not to preside over the committee's meetings.
